True Big Bang Geeks

If you're anything like me, you are in love with The Big Bang Theory. If that the case, you need to take this quiz.

I got a 10/10. Let's see how well you do. Good luck.

Dear Mr. Knightly by Katherine Reay

Sam is very bookish. She has lived her life hidden in her literary characters. Sam's life, however, is about to change completely. Sam will be sent to the journalism program at Northwestern thanks to a mysterious benefactor, naming himself, Mr. Knightly. The only catch is that Sam must write letters to Mr. Knightly detailing her progress in school. Sam is weary at first, but as time goes on, she finds writing to Mr. Knightly become comforting. Like a friend who does nothing but listen. Then Sam meets famous author, Alex Powell. As Alex & Sam become close, Sam finds her letters to Mr. Knightly become more confessional. There, however, is a secret lurking in the shadows. A secret that could come between Alex & Sam. A secret that will teach her how quick trust can truly be broken.

I really liked this book. It was very hard for me to put down. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

Frame 232 by Wil Mara

Frame 232

November 22nd, 1963 Dallas, Texas 12:20p.m.

Margaret Baker was a normal, excited American. Today was the day the president was coming to Dallas. She was going to watch the presidential procession come through Dealy Plaza. Margaret felt ridiculous, though. She had to wear a disguise so her boss wouldn't see her. He despised President Kennedy. An overcoat and a headscarf. A disguise that would change her life forever. Margaret would forever be known as "The Babushka Lady", and the footage she shot that day would forever change history. Margaret was afraid of what would happen if she came out with the footage, so she kept it a secret. She didn't even tell her husband. She stored the footage in a safe deposit box in a bank, and tryed to go on with her life. A life she lived in fear.

2013

Sheila Baker, Margaret's daughter, is now left her mother's secret. Margaret has passed and left the footage to her daughter. After watching the footage, Sheila isn't sure what to do. Should she destroy it or let it out? So she contacts billionaire truth-seeker Jason Hammond to help her. Suddenly both Sheila and Jason's lives are sent into a tailspin. Both running, for their lives. Can they let the truth out or will the wrong people get to them first?

I thought this book was amazing. The Kennedy assassination has always been a sad but intriguing topic to me. Although the author states he truly believes Oswald was the only shooter, the story is quite believable. I would recommend this book to anyone who finds this topic or history in itself interesting.

Redeeming Love by Francine Rivers

Angel is a soiled dove in California in the year 1850. A time when men would sell their soul for gold, & women sold their bodies just to survive. Angel was sold into prostitution as a child. She expects nothing but the worst from men, after all her father didn't even want her. Along comes Michael, who just knows that Angel is the one he is supposed to marry.

Michael saves Angel from the ugliness of the brothel she was working in, but he can't save her from herself. Over and over again Angel leaves Micheal, but he goes right back and gets her. Until the finally time. Angel becomes a new person. Finally giving into God's love, and realizing that she doesn't have to resort to her old ways to survive. Will it work for Micheal and Angel? Read the book to find out...

Robert Griffin III by Ted Kluck

Robert Griffin III exploded on the NFL scene with style & flair that was anything but typical. With a Heisman Trophy under his belt, Robert otherwise known as RG3, entered the NFL under a spotlight that would make others buckle under pressure. Then the questions began. Could he play as well professionally as he did in College? Could he take his team to the Superbowl?

Follow Ted Kluck as he shows RG3's determination & skill. How his father helped shape who he is & how he has faith through it all.

I like RG3 but I just could not get into this book. To me it was more stats than about his life & it was too many numbers for me... I just can't take that much information in. This book would be good for someone like my brother who thrives on stats. I also think it would be great for any football fan.
