My rating: 5 of 5 stars

At the age of nineteen, Jolene Keim was on the brink of a happily-ever-after amish life. That is until a tragic accident takes away both her parents at the same time. Left with her grief and five younger siblings, Jolene must decide wether to allow the amish community to seperate the children throughout different families, or keep them in their own home. With Jolene's decision comes heartbreak. Will she ever get her happily-ever-after?

Ten years later, Jolene meets Andy Fisher. A grass widow with a big heart for animals. Andy knows that the friendship blooming between them is wrong, after all, grass widows can't divorce or remarry. After six years, Andy had made his peace with what he thought would be his future. Until Jolene came along.

As Jolene and Andy face difficult decisions, can they trust God's fate for them? Will it be apart or together?

I loved this book. It was a wonderful story of never giving up hope, and knowing that god has plans for you although you don't know them. It proves that things can be alright in the face of turmoil. I would recommend this to anyone, who loves a good uplifting love story.
