Just as Hannah Troyer and Amber Bowman believe the Amish Village is going back to normal, after the previous murder investigation, Owen Esch is murdered on Pumpkinvine Trail.

Hanna Troyer already had a feeling something was amiss at The Cat's Meow yarn store. The manager Mary was not being as dependable as she usually was. Closing the store at odd hours and an English man has been lurking about.

Now as fall sets upon Middlebury, Indiana, Owen lies dead on the trail and the clues to the murderer's identity are pointing in different directions. The Cat's Meow being one of them!

The police have called in a FBI agent, but Hannah and Village Manager, Amber, aren't about to wait for them to figure it out. No one from the Amish Village could have possibly killed Owen. Could they? Hannah and Amber stay hard at work to keep the people they love from being suspects, and find the true identity of the killer.

They work together quickly and very had to bring peace back to the little village.


I really liked this book. I liked how I didn't have to read the first book to understand what was happening in this book. I loved the characters, and although most were Amish and I am not, they were easy to identifiy with. The personal trials they go through are not much different to us English.

I also like the way the author, conveying through the characters, put to rest the myths about the amish. They are not freaks because of the way they live, they just simply have a different belief system than most.

Although you don't have to read the previous book to understand the storyline, I would like to read it, and can't wait to read the next one.

I loved this book. It was a wonderful story of never giving up hope, and knowing that god has plans for you although you don't know them. It proves that things can be alright in the face of turmoil. I would recommend this to anyone, who loves a good uplifting love story.

Then Chet is called to help Kimberly's daughter tame her horse, and everyone begins to get more than they bargained for. It really gets that way when Chet's Nana Anna shows up. Eighty-four, but you wouldn't know it, Anna sees the bloom of love between the two, and she's knows just what to do. Nana Anna has a certain magic, a magic that two single parents could really use. Magic, that creates the courage, to build something new from the ashes of tragedy.



I loved this book. It was hard for me to put down, once I got started. I identified with Chet and his hurt and I felt for Kimberly. I knew from the get, that these two should be together. It was just very apparent. It was an amazing story of love, forgiveness, and hope. A little of what this world needs.

Miss Honduras Maria Alvarado shot dead, buried after sister's boyfriend flies into jealous rage The 19-year-old beauty queen went missing Thursday and authorities confirmed her death and that of her sister, Sofia Trinidad, 23, on Wednesday. Trinidad's boyfriend, Plutarco Ruiz, is among four suspects in the murders.

Normal Barbie is Here!

The Lammily Doll a.k.a. Normal barbie is here. She is available online for about 25 dollars. This doll was an art idea, to make barbie be "normal". The doll has what should be normal proportions for a 19 year old woman. This is based on data from the CDC (Center for Disease Control). Lammily doll comes with an expansion pack of stickers. These stickers include: scars, bruises, stretch marks, glasses, moles, tattoos, and etc.

Is this a good idea? I believe so. It can teach little girls that not all girls are perfect. Some will have scars or etc. But just because we have these, does not mean we're not beautiful girls.

Jack Nicholson. A huge name in Hollywood. Linked to famous movies such as The Shining, and One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest,
was once a normal boy from New Jersey with dreams to be famous. Then a normal man, living in LA, trying to find his way to stardom. Marc Eliot paints a intimate portrait of the life of One of Hollywood's elite.


I'm not a huge fan of biographies. It takes me forever to read them. It wasn't that this one wasn't well written, it's that way with all biographies. I'm a fan of Mr. Nicholson, but not as big as my mom. She is mainly the reason I choose this book. I plan to give it to her as a gift.


About the Author:
